Policies

Career Fair Management

• The ACCK Colleges and K-State at Salina reserve the right to make rules and regulations as necessary to insure the success of the Opportunities Expo, and to change and amend them from time to time. The interpretation of these rules and regulations by the Opportunities Expo Committee shall be final and conclusive.

Employer Registration

• Booth registration fee of $25 (limit of one booth), which includes lunch for one participant, must accompany the registration form. Government agencies may submit a government voucher.
• Space is limited and will be assigned on a first come basis.
• Additional lunch tickets may be purchased at $5/person.

Contingencies

• The Opportunities Expo Committee reserves the right to cancel this contract in case the premises are destroyed or damaged as to render them unfit for the event, by fire or the elements or any other cause, or any circumstances beyond the control of the Opportunities Expo Committee making it impossible for fulfillment of this contract. In the event of such cancellation all payments previously made on this contract are to be promptly returned to the Exhibitor by the Opportunities Expo Committee, and upon return of the payments, the Opportunities Expo Committee is to be released of any and all claims for damages, lost costs, or expenses sustained or incurred by the Exhibitors due to a cancellation.

Installation and Removal of Exhibits

• Exhibits are to be installed and removed at the expense of the Exhibitor.
• No exhibits shall be installed until payment for the space reserved has been received.
• All exhibits need to remain in place until after the official closing of the Opportunities Expo at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 27, 2007.
• All exhibits, displays and other materials and property of the Exhibitor need to be removed after the official 2:00 p.m. closing.
• The Opportunities Expo Committee recommends that you bring your own extension cords and power strips as K-State at Salina is unable to provide them.

Use of Space

• Exhibitor will be provided one table and two chairs in approximately 8' (width) of space.
• Exhibitor should note on registration form the type of display (i.e. tabletop, floor display, etc) for use in assigning booth spaces.
• Disturbing noises or forms for attracting attention to an exhibit which are objectionable to the Opportunities Expo will be excluded.
• All decorations must be flameproof or be of fireproof material. Fire exits must be kept open at all times.
• All aisles must be kept clear of exhibit material.
• Nails, tacks or screws may not be driven into the building walls or pillars.

Liability and Insurance

• The Opportunities Expo Committee shall not be responsible for the loss, theft or damage of or to the property of the Exhibitor. Exhibitor waives any claim against the Opportunities Expo Committee and K-State at Salina and its employees for liability, loss or damage to the Exhibitor's property. The Opportunities Expo Committee recommends Exhibitors not place items to be given away on the tables prior to the start of the fair.
• The Exhibitor agrees to provide insurance for personal injury and property in such amount as the Exhibitor deems adequate to protect his/her interests and property.

Observance of Law and Regulations

• The Exhibitor shall observe and comply with all Federal, State, Municipal, and K-State at Salina management laws, charters, ordinances, rules and regulations. This show is for promotional purposes only.

Privileges

• In the event the Exhibitor does not occupy the space, the Opportunities Expo Committee shall have the right to occupy the space in any manner it deems best. The Exhibitor agrees to pay the full sum for such space, whether it has been occupied by the Exhibitor or not.

Forfeiture

• If the Exhibitor fails to make payments at the time appointed, all rights of the Exhibitor shall cease and the Opportunities Expo re-sell the space. No refunds will be made after February 20, 2007.
